We are committed to environmentally responsible operations and aim for zero spills to the environment. This commitment is reflected in our use of modern, energy-efficient technology and our focus on eco-friendly solutions, both technically and operationally. We also take active steps to minimize the use of onboard chemicals, promoting safer and cleaner working environments.
Our tools, such as the REN Shear, Pipe Recovery Tool, and Mattress Recovery Tool, are designed to replace traditional hydraulic oil systems with water-based alternatives, significantly reducing pollution risks and enhancing energy efficiency. The REN Spider operates with 70% electric power and features a closed-loop oil system, allowing the same oil to be reused for up to four years, dramatically lowering waste and emissions.
Our compact topside spread reduces transport requirements by half, cutting CO₂ emissions and saving valuable deck space, all while delivering greater operational power. With these smart, eco-conscious technologies, RenOcean supports clients in meeting IMO decarbonization goals and advancing toward a more sustainable offshore future.
