REN T-REX

The REN T-REX Trencher is a modular, dual-mode subsea vehicle designed for burying pipelines, umbilicals, flowlines, and submarine cables up to 3.5 m deep. It operates in jetting mode for soils up to 125 kPa, powered by 1250 kW, or in mechanical chain cutting mode for harder soils up to 400 kPa. A combined configuration is available for challenging seabed conditions. With adjustable buoyancy and low ground pressure (≤ 25 kPa), the T-REX is optimised for soft soil operations, and optional front jet nozzles and rear backwash swords further enhance trenching performance across diverse environments.
