REN T-REX TRENCHER High-Powered Dual-Mode Subsea Trenching Vehicle The RENT-REX Trencher is a modular, dual-mode subsea trencher designed for the burial of pipelines, umbilicals, flowlines, and submarine cables down to 3.5m depth. It can operate in jetting mode for soils upto 125 kPa, powered by 1250 kW, or in mechanical chain cutting mode for harder soils up to 400 kPa. A combined configuration is also available for challenging seabed conditions. With adjustable buoyancy and low ground pressure (≤ 25 kPa), the vehicle is optimized for soft soil operations. Optional front jet nozzles and rear backwash swords enhance trenching performance across a wide range of environments.
